Story

Robbers Turn Good Citizen

Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Gillani (Allah be Pleased with him) was yet a young boy when he had to undertake a journey with a caravan.His pious mother stitched up forty gold coins in his shirt.She advised him to always speak the truth.When the caravan entered a forest,a gang of robbers fell on the travellers and looted all of them.A robber came to young boy and asked if he had something on him.He told that he had forty gold coins stitched in his shirt.The robber took him to the leader of the gang.The chief asked him why he had not  denied having money.The boy told that his mother had advised him to always speak the truth.It had a deep effect on the leader.He felt sorry for his misdeeds and gave up his bad ways.He disbanded the gang and advised all the members to lead an honest life.

Moral:

Always speaks the truth.
